Uprising Promotions Returns on Saturday Night at Seaport Pier 16
NYC’s waterfront becomes the backdrop for an electric night of boxing and entertainment at Rumble on the River.
Uprising Promotions brought Rumble on the River to Seaport Pier 16 this past Saturday night, and the result was an evening that went well beyond the action inside the ropes. With the Manhattan skyline glowing in the background, boats drifting through the harbor, and an open sky overhead, Uprising Promotions delivered one of the most memorable settings in its organizational history, and the fighters on the card made sure the boxing lived up to the backdrop.
“The show went great. It was a true collaborative effort,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “I want to give a big shout out to the Seaport Pier 16 for giving us the opportunity to do a first-ever boxing show on their property. I think the night was a smashing success, and the fights were awesome. We are definitely planning to do it again.”
A passionate crowd filled the waterfront venue as a full card of talented amateur fighters brought the energy and competition that perfectly represented Uprising Promotions. Bout after bout, the fighters delivered, turning a stunning outdoor setting into an incredible fight night atmosphere.
Rumble on the River – Fight Results
Once again, Rumble on the River proudly benefited Bigvision Community, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults in recovery from substance abuse. The partnership between Uprising Promotions and Bigvision Community continued to demonstrate that the promotion’s commitment to giving back is every bit as strong as its commitment to putting on a great show.
The momentum does not stop here, as Uprising Promotions is already looking ahead to its next event. Fight Around and Find Out, presented by McDonald Worley Personal Injury Attorneys, will go down on Saturday, August 1st, at Terminal 5 in New York City. This special trade union charity boxing tournament will bring together brothers and sisters from across the trades for a night of fights, pride, and competition, once again for a great cause.
Applications for Fight Around and Find Out are available now for interested participants. Think you have what it takes? Email ronsonfrankboxing@gmail.com for more information on joining the show.
