On Saturday night, New York City’s waterfront becomes the backdrop for an electric night of boxing and entertainment courtesy of Uprising Promotions and HTD Boxing Gym. Rumble on the River goes down at Seaport Pier 16, and everything is officially in place for a truly memorable event.

“Saturday night is going to be an incredible night of boxing for an even better cause,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “We have a loaded show supporting Bigvision Community, and hosting this event at Seaport Pier 16 will be a really unique experience for our boxers and fans. Michael Carter-Williams is back and ready, the card is stacked, and the energy around this card tells us everything we need to know. New York City always shows up for us, and we can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow night on the waterfront, under the open sky.”

Headlining Rumble on the River is the return of former NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams, who steps back into the amateur boxing ring for the first time since his impressive debut at Uprising Promotions’ Broad Street Brawl in 2025. That performance drew national attention from media outlets across the globe, and Carter-Williams did not disappoint. Since that night, he has been putting in serious work to continue his development in boxing, and tomorrow he gets his chance to showcase how far he has come.

Joining Carter-Williams on the card is a talented lineup of amateur fighters representing some of the city’s most respected gyms. The vibrant energy of the New York City boxing community will be on full display on Saturday night, and the setting could not be more fitting.

Once again, Rumble on the River proudly benefits Bigvision Community, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young adults in recovery from substance abuse. Tickets are still available starting at $75 for general admission, with ringside seats, VIP seating and limited VIP tables also on offer. Doors open at 6 PM, with the first bell at 7 PM.
