Uprising Promotions Announces ‘Frozen Fury’ in NYC on January 9th

Ronson Frank’s Uprising Promotions will return to the Léman Ballroom in New York City on Friday, January 9th, 2026, with its next live boxing event entitled Frozen Fury. The show once again partners with Bigvision Community, a nonprofit supporting young adults in recovery from substance abuse.

“We are proud to continue working with Bigvision and supporting the incredible mission they represent,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “Boxing has always been about discipline, resilience and second chances, the same values Bigvision instills in young adults in recovery. Together, we are fighting for something bigger than boxing.”

Presented by Uprising Promotions in association with HIIT the Deck Boxing Gym, Frozen Fury will spotlight a lineup of talented New York-based fighters. The full card will be announced in the coming weeks, and tickets are on sale now starting at $75 for general admission. Ringside seats, VIP seating and limited VIP tables are also available. Doors open at 6 PM, with the first bell at 7 PM. Businesses interested in supporting this community event can contact Uprising Promotions to learn more about sponsorship opportunities.

“Our last show reminded everyone what Uprising Promotions stands for, and that is competitive fights, passionate fans and community impact,” said Frank. “January 9th is about keeping that spirit alive and pushing it even further. We are here to showcase talent, give fighters a platform and put on a night the city will not soon forget.”

The Léman Ballroom, located at 41 Broad Street in New York City, hosted Uprising Promotions’ most recent show that was headlined by former NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams, who made a successful amateur boxing debut. Frozen Fury continues that tradition, carrying forward a legacy built since 2013 by former professional fighter Ronson Frank, who retired as an undefeated light heavyweight in 2014 after a 17-fight career.

For more than a decade, Uprising Promotions has produced a steady lineup of sold-out shows in New York City while also co-promoting events across the nation and abroad. The company’s broadcast résumé includes collaborations on major networks like Showtime and independently managed international pay-per-view events in both the United States and Jamaica.
